Please make sure that your modem is connected to the phone lines correctly, and check that the modem cable and the modem power cord are secured in the correct location. Also check the modem cable that connects to the computer. |

If that doesn't solve the problem, try re-connecting at a slower speed. The method you use to re-set your connect speed varies from one modem to the next. You can also insert commas before the number you are dialing. Each comma inserts a one second pause in dialing. Slowing down the call and help with call processing. |
